What you'll do:
The Events and Fundraising Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events, coordinating programs and site rentals, and organizing fundraising initiatives in support of the museum. This position is also responsible for managing and coordinating volunteers to support events and program coordination.- Events and Rentals: Work with museum staff to plan and stage various special events, including annual events, premium events, and fundraisers. Coordinate the work of contracted event planners and facilities bookings for various rentals.
- Fundraising: Develop promotional materials, prepare grant applications, and implement donor engagement initiatives and fundraising campaigns to support the museum. Help promote Lang Pioneer Village Museum as a destination of choice!
- Program Coordination: Create and distribute information packages and coordinate the scheduling of the museum's paid programming and outreach opportunities.

This job is for you if…
- Our non-negotiables: You have post secondary education in Event Management and/or Museum Management, and a valid Ontario driver's license.
- Experience: You have 3 years of related job experience in a museum or special events setting, including leadership or supervision of volunteer experience.
