What you'll do:

In this role, you’ll lead operational initiatives, manage service requests, and oversee administrative support, including onboarding and offboarding staff. You’ll champion projects that improve workflows, implement software solutions, and support strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include project management, data analysis, customer service coordination, and clear communication of operational activities.

  • Project Management & Technology Initiatives: Lead technology-driven process improvements and manage operational projects. This includes implementing software solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and training staff to optimize workflows and service delivery.
  • Work Planning & Data Analysis: Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and support strategic priorities. Develop methods to track work plans, audit records, and recommend process enhancements for Roads and Fleet operations.
  • Customer Service & Administration: Manage service requests and ensure timely resolutions for the public, townships, and Council. Oversee onboarding/offboarding of staff, maintain clear communication plans, and deliver seasonal and operational messaging to keep stakeholders informed.
In accordance with County Policy, a Police Record Check that is acceptable to the County will be required as a condition of employment.

This job is for you if…
  • Our non-negotiables: You have a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field. You have a valid Ontario driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Experience: You have 2 years of related job experience in customer service and managing/implementing process improvements. Previous experience in Municipal Government or working in a public works environment. Previous experience working in a senior-staff capacity, or leading unionized work/projects would be considered an asset.
